CHEF DE PARTIE

We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and hardworking chef to join our close knit team at the House. Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen is preferable, but a hard-working, reliable and passionate attitude is essential.

You will be preparing, cooking and serving our breakfast and brunch menu to a high standard, whilst creating monthly specials and exploring new ideas and flavours to make dishes with a difference. You will also help to produce delicious cakes, pastries and sweets for display on our front of house cake counter. 

Everything we serve in made in-house, so a true passion for ingredients, creativity and a flare of food is essential!

You will be able to work in a high-pressure, high-turnover environment, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be a team player and be able to work unsupervised. You will also be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays.

Applicants must possess:

  • Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation

  • Kitchen maintenance and cleaning

  • Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies

  • Menu planning

  • Following food safety requirements

  • Excellent communication with other team members

In return, you will receive a generous hourly wage, share of tips, duty meals, and be eligible for future promotion to supervisory roles. You will also have the freedom to bring your ideas to the table and be supported in achieving your culinary goals. We are only open during the daytime, so no evenings or double shifts required!

Part time to full time hours available dependent on applicant.
